Movies to get You in the Traveling Mood

I came across this article today and I was intrigued… it was all about Frommer’s Budget Travel awarding the 10 best movies in 2006 that inspire travel.  I’ve checked out some of them – and some are just getting released, but if you’re a traveler like me – they might be worth renting or shelling out a few bucks at the theatre!

Why not watch some of these wonderful movies and see if they spark an interest in some new and exciting places to visit?

10) The Illusionist: set in Vienna but filmed in the Czech Republic

9) Sketches of Frank Gehry: a documentary looking at the architect’s buildings, including the Guggenheim Bilbao in Northern Spain, Marques de Riscal Winery and hotel in Spain, and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein Germany.
