  1. Rome is TOTALLY amazing!!

    You can be strolling down a pretty normal street, you turn the corner and there is the Colisseum or the Roman Ruins, it’s really quite amazing.

    The people in Rome are VERY friendly, it’s kind of funny in a way.

    I found the food so different than what I expected but very very very good.  Like every meal had a small dish of pasta with it, then an entree.  The portions were not huge, everything seemed to be well portioned, then salad at the end.

    I HIGHLY recommend eating gellato.  There is a great little gellato shop just outside the Vatican that is amazing (you’ll know the one, it’s always crowded).

    If you can schedule your trip around a holiday it’s amazing how packed the city gets near the Vatican and everyone seems to be in great spirts.

    Rome is great for romance and also great for family fun.  I found it very educational. 

    The 6 day getaway has my attention, pretty good price.
